Suupohja koulutuskuntayhtymä Vuoksi provides and develops high-quality vocational qualifications to promote the well-being of the society, region and people in close co-operation with employers and their establishments.
As a regional vocational upper secondary education provider, we have a mission to provide the basic knowledge and the skills that meets the needs of the working life and future. We will build for our students flexible learning environments and individual study paths.
We have over 650 full-time students. Vocational education and training (VET) is popular among young people in Finland. Over 50% of young people applying to secondary level studies choose VET.
Accommodation
We help to find accommodatin. The rental costs are around 200-500€/month (dormitory or apatment).
About studies
For every student a PCDP is developed (=personal competence development plan). Studies proceed according to one’s own individual and personal plan.
Depending on the previous work experience of the individual student, there are internships periods during studies. These internships are served without salary and are part of the course of the student’s studies.
The basic working clothes and shoes are provided. Studying material (books etc) are provieded. Lunch is provieded on schooldays. For agricultural students breakfast and dinner are also provided during schooldays.
About Kauhajoki Town
Kauhajoki town is situated in southern Ostrobothnia. With its dynamic and thriving business community, Kauhajoki is the second largest town in the Province of Western Finland in terms of land area. Population is approximately 14 000.
Vuoksi Campuses are located close to the Kauhajoki town center.

You can apply to Vuoksi when you have passed B1.1 level test. We expect students to continue developing their Finnish language skills to B 1.2. level.
Submit application, Finest Future diploma and motivation letter IN FINNISH. You can include other material too (portfolio, video etc).
